We process Run-of-Mine (ROM) chrome ore typically sourced from open-pit or underground mining operations. The raw ore we handle has variable characteristics, from large rocks (e.g., 300mm+) down to fines, requiring primary crushing. This feed material is usually of a lower grade (e.g., 25-40% Cr2O3) than desired for direct sale. It contains various gangue minerals (e.g., serpentine, talc, chlorite, quartz, feldspar), and potentially other base metal sulphides or oxides depending on the geology.
